Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We're raising as much as we can to support the victims of the earthquake disaster in Nepal.

We aim to walk a 10 mile route in the Peak District and along the way ascend 10 rock climbs. The challenge is to complete the route and the climbs in 10 hours.

All levels of abilities can access the challenge from top end extreme climbers to first timers. Qualified guides and instructors will be on hand to get novices up easier routes, selected for first timers or the inexperienced whilst the more experienced can fill their boots with the toughest routes Stanage, Burbage and Higgar Tor have to offer.

To get onboard raise £50 to do the challenge as an independent climber or £100 as a guided novice. Copy the receipt from just giving and e-mail it to theoutdoorhub@yahoo.com and we'll send you an info pack for the day by return.

Funds will be sent to Nepal via the registered charity Community Action Nepal. www.canepal.org.uk

Following the earthquakes in 2015 CAN launched an appeal which has raised over one million pounds - our thanks to many supporters at JustGiving. One year on, Doug Scott CBE, CAN's Operations Director estimates a further million pounds is still needed to complete the reconstruction.
