Story
Hello everyone and thanks for visiting this site!
The 2TPS OPS team and other helpers currently serving in Afghanistan HAVE COMPLETED a huge challenge in the name of charity. A stretcher run with a 50 kg dummy was carried for 8 miles on 25 Feb 14 in 1hr 35mins!!!!! Smashed it!!!! Now for the next challenge...
Another challenge is now taking place!! members of the SQN are committing to 80 miles a day every day, for 40 days!! We will be doing this by means of running, cycling, rowing, walking or using the cross trainer. The total is 3,200 miles which is the total distance from camp bastion, Afghanistan to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
We are raising money for the charity Fisher House as one of our own (RAF Police) have been supported by this charity and we would love to give something back to say thank you.
