2nd Uxbridge Scout Group are raising money for ARocha UK a Christian Conservation Charity, who are redeveloping a waste land called Wolf Fields in Southall, West London, into a community run wild life, recreation and natural learning environment for schools and Scouts and anyone else who wants to go there, to use. As part of the project, a sensory garden for disabled children has been designed by a local school girl and commissioned by the Eden project, and we are raising money to pay for it....we are then going to help build it! We have raised £2000 at two other section events, a Beaver Scout event raising £1000, and a Cub Scout Swimathon raising the other £1000. This one is the big one, all members of the group are taking part, so I want to raise £5000 in one go.
