Story

On the 30th June/1st July 2012; 10 climbers Laura & Neil Trubshaw, Jenna Holford, Dave Small, Rich Somerville, Ash Whittaker, Chris Wiles, Rach Birtles, Anita Edwards & Myself, 2 drivers Gerry Small & Billy Thomas took on the 3 Peaks Challenge, to go from peak to peak of the 3 largest Peaks in the UK, Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike & Snowdon in 24 hours.

Battling through the worst June weather conditions you could imagine on a mountain, through cramps, knee pains, travel sickness and down right soaked through to the skin we completed this grueling task in 23 hours!

This page will remain open for another month for anyone to donate after supporting us through this challenge.  Thank you so much to all who have sponsored us to date and sent us messages of support on the weekend.

let see how high we can get this final fund for this pioneering charity!!

We did this climb in memory of Lucy Sands who lost her battle with cancer in December 2011.  A tribute page has been set up at www.lstf.co.uk.

All money raised will be given to the CVI, so lets help give others the chance to live a little longer with a better quality of life.
