We care for ex-Service personnel to give them back their independence

Story

Twelve soldiers and officers from B Company, 3rd Battalion Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment are looking to complete the Three Peaks Challenge on one of the longest days of the year.  The challenge will involve climbing Ben Nevis (1,345m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m) in less than 24 hours including driving time.

The challenge is often done as a solo event, however the team has decided to raise money for the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home. The QAHH is a charity local to B Company, based in Worthing, that supports physically disabled ex-servicemen and women. First founded in 1919, the home has provided a high level of care and assistance since its inception, with a multi-disciplinary approach to rehabilitation for those who have served in HM Armed Forces.  The donations will help support different aspects of the center including physiotherapy, vocational trips and improving facilities.
