Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A few years ago, I was really unhealthy, over 25 stone, couldn't run the length of the penalty box. Not great for a goalkeeper. Working with the Football Fans in Training, I eventually lost half my bodyweight, then concentrated on fitness with the Tuesday evening #FitforChange #HealthyHibees sessions. A couple of years ago, I ran a marathon round the pitch, last year, I managed three half marathons and a dozen or so Obstacle Course Races, including Tough Mudders, Total Warrior, Survival of the Fittest and even a Spartan Trifecta. In 2016, I aim to continue to train and run a total of 1000 miles (1600km) including various organised runs, OCRs and 3 Spartan Trifecta races. (Sprint 5+k, Super 12+k and Beast 20+km = 1 trifecta) all wearing my HealthyHibee tops and goalkeeping trousers.
It isn't going to be easy, but nothing worthwhile is. Last year I managed to raise £1,423.42 for the cause. Hoping to do better in 2016.
