We fund research, innovation, art & design to make care better for patients & families

Story

56 Dean Street is a convenient and free NHS sexual health clinic based in Soho. Our friendly team delivers full outpatient HIV and sexual health clinic services using the latest technology. We are part of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and have won several national awards for our excellent, innovative and engaging work.

Your donation will help us to:

- increase HIV survival rates through early testing

- create a welcoming, calm and relaxing environment for patients

- reach those at the highest risk

We recommend annual HIV testing. People who find out early that they have HIV live longer, healthier lives than those who test late. That’s why we offer free walk-in rapid HIV testing throughout our opening hours. We can provide an HIV diagnosis in less than 5 minutes.

Other walk-in services include Hepatitis B vaccination for at-risk individuals, free condoms, post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and emergency contraception. It was at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital's predecessor, the Westminster Hospital, that Professor Brian Gazzard (Director of HIV/GUM Clinical Research & Education) diagnosed one of Europe’s first cases of AIDS in 1981.

Please donate now to our partner Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity and help us continue our work!
