Story

One year ago today, I had an anaphylactic reaction to nuts whilst on exchange in The Gambia. I am here today because my amazing friends acted so quickly and got me to the nearest hospital they could.

That hospital was The MRC in Banjul. The staff there that day saved my life, despite the fact that they do not take emergencies and have very minimal recusitation equipment.

I will never forget the care I received nor will I ever be able to express how grateful I am for their amazing work that day.

In an attempt to express my gratitude, I am raising money to buy them the resuscitation equipment that they need. I would like to think that in the future if anybody else needed emergency help, they would at least have the equipment to support them.

I will be walking, running or cycling 5k every day for 50 days and to survive these 50 days I will need your sponsorship!!

I will be so grateful for any donations made so pretty please give what you can! Donations will be going through the Saint David's Mesical Foundation and into The Gambia link.
