Fundraising for The Ickle Pickles
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are hoping to raise money for The Royal Cornwall Hospital's (Treliske) Neonatal unit through The Ickle Pickles charity.
Our daughter was born in December, eight weeks early, and spent five weeks in the unit. While it was a difficult time for us, the care and compassion provided by the nurses and doctors was amazing. Even something as small as a stocking for the babies on Christmas Day meant so much.
We will never be able to thank them enough for all they did but we hope we can make a small difference to the unit and the babies they continue to help.
We are planning on walking up and down the five peaks of the home nations in 48 hours. These are:
- Carrauntoohil in Ireland
- Slieve Donard in Northern Ireland
- Ben Nevis in Scotland
- Scafell Pike in England
- Snowdon in Wales
