Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a survivor, I know the joy I get from being with friends and loved ones and I also know the suffering that this disease burdens others and their friends and loved ones with.  All those suffering, all of their loved ones, friends and relatives and for anyone else experiencing the symptoms, we ALL know someone who we just want to know that we are there for them and with them.

2016 will see me run in numerous Ultra Marathons, John O'Groats to Land's End (health permitting) and the London Marathon in between - all for cancer research. When I run the London Marathon, It will be 14 years since my tumours were removed but the memories of how those I became close to will be with me forever. I can't do much to help those who have gone, but we can all do something to help those that are here - including my great friend from teenage years, Simon 'Shakey' Shakeshaft!

Every penny helps research and all research helps others - enough said.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you and God Bless - running shoes on, Cancer and I have a little score to settle ;)
