Appeal for Lancashire Wildlife Trust, 28 October 2016

Story

Lancashire wildlife Trust had a break in this weekend 25/10/14, at it's office on Bury rd. Bolton. The TV which is used to display live feed of our nesting boxes and wildlife pictures taken by local volunteers has been stolen along with a Donation box.

Although insurance will cover some of the costs, the inevitable £500 excess will mean that the trust will have to now reduce the amount of events and services which it puts on for the local community.  As someone who volunteers at the office,  I am massively frustrated about this as myself and other volunteers work very hard to bring the community together, so, I want to see whether or not we could raise some donations to put towards the delivery of more community events at the office to keep us bringing people to see the beauty of the Seven Acres Site we are situated on, and maybe we can replace our stolen TV, for the children to enjoy pictures of the wildlife around us .

Thank you, Wendy Birchal
