Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In August, I will be taking part in a sponsored 10-K Walk at the Hyde Park to raise £2,000 to support Liberty's Mobile Eye Clinic project in Africa.

In October, i will also travel to Epe (Lagos, Nigeria) for a week-long self-sponsored charity, educational, evangelistic and Health programme. It will cost about £1000.

I joined Liberty http://www.makingpeoplefree.org.uk/in 2008. It has been my delight to support this charity's 5-fold (Education,Health-Care, Business Empowerment, Clean Water provision and Pastoral Care) projects in rural parts of Nigeria and some other parts of the world.

You can help to make this vision a reality!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If your organisation would like to make a Corporate Social Responsibility donation to any of Liberty projects; we really welcome you. I am happy to come and deliver a presentation that will further explain the nature of this charity.

Thank you.

About the charity

Liberty is a charity registered under the New Covenant Church. We use the voluntary expertise of our many members to reach out to the poor and needy and those existing on subsistence level in many African villages. Liberty sets entire communities free body, mind and spirit using a 5 Fold Mission. To date we have built sixty village churches, primary schools, provided bursaries for education, established adult literacy classes, agriculture empowerment programmes, clean water and free healthcare in places where normally those without money to pay for these things have to go without. Through our modest work in Southern Nigeria we have seen whole communities changed however our vision is to reach the rest of Africa. Be part of the solution and support us in achieving this.
