Story
Aaron was born on 19th February 2013. When he was twenty days old he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis through the new born screening tests. Aaron was under the care of the CF team at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. He was doing fantastically well with normal weight gain and lung function and no admissions to hospital.
On the 1st September 2014 Aaron was admitted to the paediatric intensive care unit due to a severe infection that was completely unrelated to his CF. Aaron put up a brave fight against the infection but lost the battle after four and half days and he passed away peacefully in our arms.
Aaron received the best care from both his CF team and the PICU team and we would like to raise some money in Aaron's name to support the work carried out by these teams.
