Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Recently strong winds have destroyed our nets protecting neighbouring house's. Legally we can not play without these nets therefore need to replace them if we are ever to play cricket here again. The clubs current financial status means it is impossible to buy these nets without your help. The club has been part of the community since 1947 and has been a key part to the village and district ever since. The ground itself was voted as the 3rd best in the league that we play in so would be sorely missed by many players past and present. There are over 100 current members at the club male and female, with 4 mens teams , 1 ladies team and over 50 young children who are currently being deprived of any sort of cricket.

Even the smallest donation would be hugely appreciated to help our club pay for the net so we can get playing again. The knock on effects of not playing could have devastating results on the clubs finances due to lack of revenue which could sadly lead the club to extinction.

So please help us raise our goal of £22,500 to prevent our club from possible extintion. Every share on social media will be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou
