Having benefitted from a 6 month residential treatment programme myself, my family and I hold a coffee morning, where we sell handmade crafts to raise money for the 9 bedded Naomi House Project. This is an all women alcoholand drug treatment centre (only 9 exist in the country!) that provides a 24 week programme for women to enable them to achieve sobriety. Christmas is a particular hard time for the women as they have often made the hardest of  leaving their children to get well and give them the best Christmas present they can receive....a sober Mum! We also make sure that each girl that is in there over Xmas receives a Xmas stocking. Throughout my journey I have met some wonderful, strong women and the Naomi Project is a charity that has literally saved lives and given hope to many people like me.
