Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Colin & Blair Hughes along with Ted & Tim Simpson are cycling with Pedal for Scotland in the "Big Belter" and "the Classic Challenge" which are 112 miles and 46 miles (total combined mileage of 250 miles) from Glasgow to Edinburgh on Sunday the 11th of September to raise funds for the Saturday Cafe clubs. This organisation is appreciated by many parents with disabled children who attend the clubs and give their parents a much needed respite service. The clubs provide a fun, secure and caring environment for the children who thrive on the interaction and development opportunities provided. The Saturday Cafe Clubs rely on much needed funding to continue to provide stimulating equipment and activities for the children who attend. Our daughter (and sister) Abigail has been attending for several years now and enjoys her Saturday Club.

We support disabled children and young people to participate in exciting and challenging activities, which support and extend their development. We do this in a rich stimulating environment full of opportunity for socialising, play, exploration and freedom; somewhere they can relax, create, investigate, explore, initiate and persist with activities they enjoy in a fun, caring environment.
