Story

We're back!

After your mindblowing generosity last time, we were thrilled to send over £1500 to Womankind Internation and the Nia Project. The night was a blazing success, with some rip-roaring entertainment, and the best crowd London has ever seen, A Bit of a Do has launched its newest fundraising extravaganza on March 11th, to coincide with International Women's Day!

We've found our spiritual home in The Drop, and cannot wait to string up our famous knicker-bunting on its hallowed ceilings, cover its tables with delectable delights and fill its walls with the sounds of fundraising bliss.

This time we're extremely proud to be raising funds solely for the incredible Nia project, based not far away from The Drop itself in Hackney. The project does groundbreaking work towards the prevention of violence against women and children and provides cutting edge services to support victims of domestic and gender-based violence. Take a look at their website http://www.niaendingviolence.org.uk/ and we're sure you'll be proud to support them too.

This time around, we've got some brand new sparkling talent mixed in with some familiar and very welcome faces from our last event; keep up to date with the latest news at our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/bitofadon16 and join the event at http://www.facebook.com/events/315256495188052/.

Thanks to the wonder and glory of JustGiving you can start donating now! This page is a great way to show your appreciation for the incredible work that underfunded and underappreciated organisations like Nia are carrying out in your local area and further afield. Thank you so much for your donation, no matter how big or small it all makes a difference.

THANK YOU! see you on the 11th!

Love from 'A Bit of a Do'
