Jazka-Allahu-Qayran  for taking the time to visit my son's Little Heart JustGiving page.

I am raising money for the volunteering doctors whose main mission is to treat and operate on babies born with Congenital Heart Defects in the disadvantaged countries.

I'm climbing Ben Nevis  mountain for all children in Africa who are suffering or affected with similar conditions as my son, little Ayyuub’s heart is the engine behind my heart to undergo this challenge. This is why I am motivated to beat my heart to its maximum to conquering Ben Nevis the highest peak in the UK .

All the money I raise will go towards the unique project “Little Hearts”, where they provide life saving heart operations to little children. One heart operation costs just £1500. And my target is to sponsor 2 children's heart operation cost however, without Allah's help and your kind donation this target will be impossible. I ask Allah (SWT) to help me(Ameen) however I am mostly relying on donations from friends and family to sponsor me and make a difference to these children who really need the surgery to survive. we should strive and give as much as possible for little hearts to beat.

I have been inspired by my son Ayyuub who was born with a congenital heart defect in February 2013. He needed urgent medical attention and had to be taken to NICU(Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) from the first day of his life.
He spent ten hours in NICU before being transferred to a specialist heart hospital. He was on strong medication to help with his heart for six days before the planned surgery went ahead.

Little Ayyuub went through  3 open heart operations to fix his little heart although one more operation he still required when he turns 4 years old next year. Because of the complication and side effect of operation he lost his vocal cords and as a result he has tube in trachea to help him have a secure airway, we as the parent have being trained to section him with the machine if the tube is blcoked and that's not enough he also needed to re-learn how to feed and adjust to normal life after the operation as he had spent months in hospital, this required a different group of doctors to help him. To cut a long story short children with congenital heart defects need a lot of medical attention to help them live a normal life.

My son might have possible died if it were not for the immediate treatment that he received. Although I believe in Allah’s Decree (Qadr ) as Allah SWT said in the Qura’n, To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance. (Surah Al-Araf,34).Ayyuub is due for second operation in Ramadan around July Please make Dua’a for him.

As you all know a child born in Africa has little or no access to treatment of any kind and cardiac surgical services are virtually absent. Congenital heart defect are among the most common birth defect. Many affected are required medical and surgical treatment. Even after treatment some children may be at increased risk of illness and death from cardiovascular diseases.
