Chester Aid to the Homeless (CATH) was founded by a team of volunteers in 1972 to provide help and support to Chester’s homeless community.  The charity has developed over four decades to become a leading homeless charity in the city of Chester providing a wide range of services.

Each winter a group of hardy volunteers are sponsored to ‘sleep out’ for one night in a Chester car park to raise money for CATH, usually around £10,000.
