Jewish Women’s Aid is the only UK organisation to support Jewish women and their children affected by domestic abuse.  Last year, JWA’s freephone helpline took over 500 calls, with the organisation going on to support hundreds of Jewish women and their children. JWA provides refuge, outreach, counselling and therapeutic support for clients who often describe it as ‘a lifeline’. 

 

Jewish Women’s Aid is proud that their education and training teams have presented in numerous secondary schools and trained hundreds of professionals.  These programmes encourage young people to form healthy relationships and give support to professionals working with women affected by domestic abuse.
