Story
London 100 Well done to Bob, Laura and Mark for completing this challenge for our chosen charity. The weather was perfect for an amazing cycle through London. After Adrian inspiring everyone to enter and train for this event due to illness he was unable to join them on the route. Adrian and Janet were there to cheer them over the finish line. Thank you to everyone for your donations we are amazed by the response and are now 50% towards our target.' Keeping our butts moving for Bowel Cancer £20,000' and are signing up for London100 2017.
July 2016 Three years on it's time for a new challenge to continue raising money for this fantastic cause.
The training has begun with great support from Bob, friends and family. Already a few hundreds of miles of training has been done along with a couple of sportives and hill climbs in France. Good to feel those aches and pains from long distance rides again. Mum is still in good health and better than ever with a new zest for life.

Hi Everyone I'm really chuffed that you have taken an interest in my JustGiving page. You are probably wondering why I have chosen this charity and the reason behind my mad target of £20,000. Well it's very simple I have been motivated by a special person... my mum. Early last year she was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer and was operated on in March followed by Chemotherapy. The staff and treatment that she received was amazing! She is now in good health and looking fabulous and smiling once again. Part of my fund raising activity is to cycle from Calais to Montauroux (South of France) this spring along with at least 2 other middle aged friends. We will start our journey/torture on 18th May 2013 with the plan of relaxing by the pool in the sun for a well-earned rest 10 days later. If there is anyone who wishes to volunteer for massaging, lubricating and pushing us up the hills you are most welcome to join us at any point during our route. With training now underway I will keep you up-dated as we prepare for our 700 mile challenge!
So please dig deep and donate now.
