Mohamad spoke at the Nexus Convening in Instanbul on Tuesday 18th June and brought home the reality of the plight of Syrians through his personal experience.  He is a refugee himself who works tirelessly day and night assisting those who have crossed the border into Turkey, finding medical treatment, arranging transport to hosptial.    

He has no income, no home and provides this assistance out his own pocket.  He sleeps wherever he can.  For example if he transports someone to hospital he might find a chair to sleep in for a few hours before getting back to work.
