Story

URGENT donations appeal for Sayed Shamshir Ahmed Rizvi's medical treatment.

Imam Ali Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, said: Charity is an effective cure, and the actions of people in their present life will be before their eyes in the next life.

A life-threatening injury is not only physically, emotionally, and spiritually overwhelming, but it is also financially devastating. Sayed Shamshir Ahmed Rizvi (age 34) from Mumbai, India faced a terrible accident where he was accidentally badly electrocuted resulting in the amputation of both his hands. He was a plumber by profession and due to this tragic incident, he is unable to work now and has hefty medical bills to pay and he was also the sole bread earner in the family.

With the help of Allah (SWT), on the eve of 13th Rajab, I will be taking on a challenge by running 30km non-stop during mid night in London to help this brother in need by raising some donations.

The holy Quran says, ''if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole of mankind.'' By taking care of the hefty medical expenses of this brother, we can bring his life back to normal to some extent. The estimated cost of the prosthesis alone is £5,000 which is the minimum target. With your generosity and valuable donations, we can make a difference and help Sayed Shamshir to have a brighter future in which he can  re-establish his life.

The money raised here will go towards covering covering Shamshir's medical bills from the hospital and prosthesis (artificial hands) through Noor Trust Organistaion.

Please spread this message for maximum support and thanks for your kind patience.

NOTE: If you are a UK taxpayer then please tick the Gift Aid box when making your donation. This means we will be able to collect an additional 25p for every £1 that you donate. Make your gift even more generous, at no cost to your self!

Also, we would highly appreciate if your donations are made with the intention of Khums etc but not as Sadqa as this brother is a Sayed.

Fiman Allah..

Syed Akram.
