Our very dear friend Richard Barlas passed away suddenly on April 10th this year leaving behind his wife Claire and four adorable children. Richard and his friend and rally organiser Alan O'Connor made a very similar trip in 2008 covering 1600 Klm from Edinburgh crossing the Swiss Alps and down in to Monaco. It is in his memory and to raise funds for a charity bereaved families very much depend on for invaluable support through desperately dificult times. We hope all our friends and those of Richard and Claire's will give generously for what is an extremely worthwile cause.
