Story
Thanks for visiting my just giving page
I am back on the road again with his mate Bev and with two friends from Felixstowe. Having done end to end last time, this time it is side to side from the most westerly point to the most easterly point. Please give generously it is for a very worthy cause.
As most of you are aware I had an operation for cancer and I have decided that to say thank you to those that saved my life and to aid others in the future that find themselves in the position I did.
The last cycle tour was the cycle from Lands end to John O'Groat's and raised £28,500 including gift aid.
The plan is to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise funds for cancer care but not just to cycle the distance but with the added challenge of 1,000 miles in 10 days.
I am cycling with my friend Bev whose daughter had a life saving liver transplant at the age of 20 just 6 months before my cancer and so we spent time in the same hospital. Bev’s mum is also undergoing chemotherapy for cancer at the moment.
I am asking that you may hopefully contribute towards my £20,000 target. Please be very generous if you can afford it as I can assure you it will hurt me an awful lot more than your pocket. This horrible disease generally touches most of our family lives in some way. I have been very lucky due to the fantastic care I received please support me as much as you can.
Many thanks
God bless you
