As my waist measurement was closing in on my age, I decided that it was time to do something about my fitness.  At the same time it seemed a good idea to raise some much needed cash for a good cause.

So, in February 2012 I am taking part in a charity bike ride from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to Angkor Wat in Cambodia to raise funds for Highland Hospice.  I will be cycling a total distance of 495 kilometres- in real money that’s 307 miles.  Speaking of money, it would be fantastic if you could sponsor me for this effort.  I am paying all of the trip costs myself, so all donations will go to the charity.
