Story

CATS is a service that is involved in the transportation of critically ill children from hospitals without Intensive Care Units to ones with them. When my son Orlando was critically ill, at 23 days old, they transported him to Adenbrooke's. Without there help he probably wouldn't be with us today.

So what are we actually doing.......

The what: Five friends riding from London to Paris over three days

The why: For fun! (And to raise money for great causes)

The route: The ride splits the 500km distance into equal parts: Battersea to Dover/Calais, Calais to Amiens, Amiens to Le Tour Eiffel

The riders: Alex Barry, Bart Rhodes, Dom Stoffel, Spencer Stratford

The support team: Charlie and Bex Macfadyen - Special thanks to these guys who will drive the support vehicle. Charlie was to be one of the riders but a broken ankle and wrist following a hit and run forced his retirement

Charities: We are supporting various charities. Please note that the whole ride is completely self-funded with the money pledged going to the charity rather than towards the cost of the ride
