After completing my first ever half-marathon last February, I've decided to challenge myself further and go the whole hog. 26.2 miles of pure pain. But it'll be all worth it because...

I attended Reed's School, Cobham for 7 years and in those years the school helped foster my sporting abilities, allowing me to strive towards my dream of being a tennis professional. I wouldn't have been able to gain an athletics scholarship at a top Division 1 school in the U.S. and play in some of the biggest tournaments such as Junior Wimbledon, Junior Orange Bowl, and various ITF's around the world.  

As a result, the London Orphan Asylum is a cause that's close to my heart.

The mission of the London Orphan Asylum is:

• to help as many vulnerable young people as possible (often from families where one or both parents are absent);
• to break the cycle of ‘family disadvantage’ through the funding of a good education; and
• to offer a range of enrichment activities that brings with them life-changing opportunities.
