Story
After a bit of deliberating I have decided to run the London Marathon again having previously done so in 2009. This was under the (false) impression that, having done so before, doing so again would be straightforward - sadly, the intervening years have not been kind and I'm concluding that I might not be built for long distance running!
While my challenge has only been to face up to cold, pre-work training mornings, distressed knees and an inability to navigate (I've been rescued twice so far), running for the ALMT (www.almt.org) and helping encourage people to join this fundraise will make every effort so worthwhile. I hope you agree and, additionally, are happy to support this collective effort to raise an ambitious target for the ALMT.
Any donation of any size would be amazingly appreciated and, additionally, will spur me on to the finish line (hopefully beating my seven-year younger self's time in the process)!
About the ALMT:
The AMLT makes grants to organisations working towards its shared mission to mitigate the suffering of children worldwide. Now in its tenth year, the AMLT has supported over 100 projects in 25 countries and because all of the running costs of the Trust are supported privately 100% of each donation made is available to go to the wonderful children's projects and initiatives taking place around the world.

Thank you all so much in advance!
