LBA Club Night/Charity Wine Tasting

"In - Out"  English versus European wines

LBA club nights usually focus on themes related to our angel investments. This meeting, however, will be a social event, where you can get to know your follow club members and colleagues over a few glasses of wine.

LBA member Nathan Hill (who is a renowned wine expert) will guide us through a tasting of a variety of wines from England and Europe. We'll all have heard so much the EU referendum by then that we've chosen the theme "In-Out", British versus European Wines. You will have the chance to taste the best of British against some great European wines. Nathan is known to many of us LBA and technology investors. A few months ago, he started his fourth business, a new online wine club Honest Grapes (www.honestgrapes.co.uk). This LBA Club night is kindly being held by Hays at their Cheapside offices, and is being supported by pioneering invoice finance platform, MarketInvoice who is providing the food for this evening and London Business Angels has sponsored the wine.

Whilst this event is a charity club night meaning that there is no obligation to pay, we aim to raise over £3,000 for our chosen charity "Shelter from the Storm" and as such welcome all voluntary donations from attendees (the suggested donation being £50). Donations will also be eligible for Gift Aid and every penny donated will go to the charity.

Shelter from the Storm is a completely free emergency night shelter providing bed, dinner and breakfast for up to 44 homeless people every night of the year in London.
