This July I'm going to be taking on the challenge of the Manchester Color Run to raise money for Independent Options with my friend Claire Holden. The race is a 5k run around Manchester's Ethiad and participants splatter each other with rainbow colours after every 1km. For those who know me I'm not too great at even walking never mind running!

I'm doing this to raise money for Stockport based charity Independent Options. I've been hearing about all the great work they do from my best friend Claire who works there. The charity helps empower people with disabilities, such as running children's centres and offering supported living. It's a small charity and any donations will go towards their great work.
