I am raising money for Keep Your Pet, a scheme run by AgeUK York in association with RSPCA York branch, providing short-term assistance for pet owners who are older or vulnerable and living in the Selby or York areas, at times of health or other emergencies. Owning a pet is a wonderful experience but older owners may sometimes need help to care for them. Keep Your Pet supports the animals and owners, taking away the worry about a pet which can otherwise delay recovery.  They also work with other organisations to help owners arrange medium and long term solutions for their pet when necessary.
