Story
After much deliberation, I WILL be running the The Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon today and I need you're financial help to make it worth it. ***24 HOURS TO RAISE £1,000***
Today I want too raise £1,000 for International Needs UK for our Water Projects helping families around the world access clean water and improved sanitation. I want YOU all to give a little/ a lot and together we can make it; I am giving myself 24 hours starting NOW (deadline is 6am tomorrow!).
As I run I will be thinking of all the women held back from accessing jobs, training and empowerment as they spend up to 6 hours each and every day collecting water. I flipping love my job and just would not be able to do it if I bore the daily and relentless task of water collecting. Lack of access to clean water is a major contributor to gender inequality in so many countries around the world.
So please be generous and sacrifice a spending today as millions of women sacrifice up to 6 hours EVERY day to collect water (UN stat).
