Early last year a close friends sisters little girl Paige was diagnosed with MLD (Metachromatic Luekodystrophy) a rare and incurable life limiting brain disorder. A few months into the pregnancy of the twins the family found out that the twins may also have the disorder. Another blow came when the twins were two weeks old and tests showed that the twins did have MLD. They are being involved in pioneering gene therapy treatment in Italy which has so far shown amazing results in other children. Everyone is keeping there fingers and toes crossed that the treatment for the boys, and making many happy memories with Paige. I'm wanting to raise money to raise awareness and help fund research into this horrible disorder.
