I am running my first Half Marathon after meeting such a lovely family who have utilised such a tragic event to create a better life for others who unfortunately suffered the same. I was inspired by the courage, passion, positivity and strength that is shown by Nick, Donna and their two beautiful girls and of course Bodie their shining star. I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for the amazing charity 'Bodie Hodges Foundation' who aim to raise money to buy a holiday home for families who have lost a child and also raise awareness of organ donation and to get as many people as they can to sign up as it makes a real difference to peoples lives each day.

Bodie's family run this charity after he sadly lost his life, Bodie then went on the save the lives of 4 children by donating his organs to sick children who were desperate for donor. We all can help by signing up to the organ donor register, we can all help save lives, as once we die we won't need our organs. Theres many ways to find information about how to sign up, speak to your doctor or use the internet, its easy!
