Orangutan habitats are gradually being destroyed and these beautiful gentle animals are becoming more and more endangered as humans continue to have an affect on their natural environment. Deforestation and the  farming of palm oil, a plant which gives nothing back to nature and is unsustainable,  has had a detrimental impact on their environment. Jungles are being set on fire in order to clear the land for farming, mainly of palm oil. 

We need to support the local people in protecting these creatures and their habitat before it's too late. Please donate and please be wary of buying products that contain palm oil (sometimes disguised as 'vegetable oil'). We need to discourage this method of farming. Orangutans are our closest relatives and soon they may be extinct. If we can support them and encourage the protection of wildlife, we still may be able to save what is left. Thank you.
