On 1st May this year I lost one of my best friends to cancer. Jean fought a courageous 2 year battle in which she never complained and was always cheerful and positive.  During her treatment the Sandra Chapman unit were very kind to her so I wanted to do something to give a little back to help others. I am taking part in the Great Yarmouth half marathon on 14th August this is a challenge for me having never ran more than 10 km before.  I am training  (and hurting!) but this is nothing compared to what Jean endured.  I know she will be with me on the day spurring me on.  Jean you were an inspiration and a true friend.
