Story

Alison Jane Badger passed away on Saturday June 11th. She fought a courageous battle against secondary breast cancer. She will be sorely missed.

Her final days were spent on the Kitty Hubbard Ward at Southend University Hospital. She received excellent care and support from all of the staff on the ward.

However, the ward lacks forms of entertainment (TV, tablet, audio) which the staff believe would improve the quality of life of patients. In addition, some extra fans would help their comfort.

It would be a fitting tribute to Alison if we were able to help the wellbeing of people on a similar journey to the one which she has recently taken.
