Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Many of you already know about the difficult birth our son Xander had. Due to the width of his shoulders he got stuck in my pelvis which caused him a great deal of stress and he was born not breathing. The SCBU took him straight away and looked after him well, he was the largest baby born that day.The photograph above was taken by them whilst they monitored his progress. I myself lost a great deal of blood and needed 2 litres of fluids to get my blood pressure back to normal levels. These are the reasons I want to give something back. Xander is a very healthy 13 year old and taller than his Mum. He has Autism and he is working hard to overcome his problems. He is a lovely, well mannered, caring boy. He makes us proud every day.
Please join myself and my fellow stall holders of the Brighouse Market on 23rd April on the site of the Brighouse Market for a cupcake at a suggested donation of £1.50 each, there are only 50 of them so come early and don't miss out. There will be lots to buy. Please note that only my stall is for the charity as the other stalls are there for their businesses. My stall will be clearly marked.
There is a follow up event on the 30th April in the form of a party at Central Methodist Church in Brighouse from 12.00 noon until 18.00.There will be games, a tombola, a competition ( Children's colouring ), food, cake ( @ £1.25 per slice ) a couple of stalls and most importantly a 'Donation Station' and collection boxes. Please come and help me to celebrate my birthday and to raise lots of money. Thank you for your support in reaching my goal.
