Most of my friends know I'm the mother of a serving soldier and this particular charity, which uses horses to help our veterans, is very close to my heart ....for 3 reasons.....1. the military connection, 2 as I went to the same school (though a couple of years later) as the founder of the charity.....and 3. living and working as I do in the Scottish Borders - horses and horse-riding are a huge part of the local livestyle, culture and heritage. The choice of charity seemed therefore very apt.

My poppies are hand felted from raw yarn and hand beaded and all the proceeds are going direct to the charity.
