I am hoping to raise £100 as part of the University of Manchester's "purple wave" and my chosen charity is Glossop Mountain Rescue because the service they provide is absolutely brilliant and they need every penny!  I spend a lot of time on the hills and have never had to be rescued (long many that continue!) but I am always amazed by the selflessness of the volunteers.
