Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you may know, I am 50 this year and Henry is an active member of Parasol, he attends many of their activities during the holidays and term time which include rock climbing, canoeing, trips to the cinema, bowling alley, challenges in the City centre, football just to name a few! Henry is also dancing a solo with the fabulously talented Parasol Dance troupe along with EmJ at the Lord Mayors dinner in April. Henry has developed so much since joining Parasol, he loves attending to catch up with his buddies, they have all encouraged him to try new things and become involved in things quite frankly, I could never have hoped for - The change in Henry is incredible, he is more confident and his social skills have rocketed. If you met any of the students at Parasol they'll all tell you about 'Dan' barely a sentence is muttered without his name being mentioned. Dan is the lovely man who is responsible for Parasol and like many of the parents whose children attend, I was so saddened to hear that last year they lost all of their funding! It goes without saying that they will re apply, as without the funding it's really difficult for them to offer some of the activities they do, as the cost would be huge for all concerned.
I therefore made the decision to ask my friends who may wish to buy me a gift or a drink even (you all know I'm a three glass of wine girl) to instead donate the equivalent to this marvellous group.
Thank you!
