Update. 

Cole has received his MRI scan which has revealed that he has a cyst upon his spinal cord. He has surgery booked for 9th October 2014 to have this removed. The operation will be completed at Lanfords Small Animal Hospital Bristol as this will require specialist care. He could remain at the small animal hospital for upto a week. 

As a result of this specialist care Cole's Appeal has now reached costs of at least £4,000. 

As of 3pm on 9th October 2014 we have reached our target. Now that we have reached our target any further donations made will be put towards our veterinary fees. 

Coles Appeal

Cole is a four year old Labrador who came into the care of All Creatures Great and Small on 15th September 2014. Last year Cole was out playing ball with his owner, as many dogs do, he jumped into the air to catch the ball and within a spilt second his life was to change. He twisted his back and his legs became paralised. Cole's happy family life had come to an adrupt end. He was taken to a vet and nothing was discovered on his x-ray but following a course of pain relief and steriods Cole's condition was stable. Cole then went onto his new home and is now in the care of the Sanctuary. Cole is the most happy go lucky dog and has certainly made a massive impact on all at the Sanctuary. He enjoys running in the field but at times, when his legs give way, he struggles to get back on his feet. 

Cole desperately needs YOUR help! We have to raise in-excess of £1,500 to send Cole to Bristol to receive an MRI Scan to find out why this is happening. Without a prognosis the likely hood of finding cole his forever home is getting slimmer. The sanctuary has a no-kill policy but  we need your help to ensure that Cole has the future that he so deserves. Time is slightly against us as Cole's condition seems to be deteriating in the kennels.
