My brother was 6 when we discovered he had a cerebral AVM and we have lived in fear of his constant risk of stroke. We were unbelievably fortunate to find it before he had a stroke, as that is normally how they're found!! The butterfly AVM charity really need funds for research into what causes AVM's and therefore into ways to prevent them.
