Dear brothers and sisters,
It's that wonderful and blessed time of the year where Allah SWT has made giving charity easier for us.

By fasting we are helping to not only abstain from food and drink, but also to quell our ego more significantly.

One of the many benefits of this is that it should help motivate us to do more than we usually would. To push the bar out beyond what we normally expect of ourselves.

So as a representative and trustee of Planet Mercy UK, I have set myself a minimum target of £500 to raise this Ramadan. I really need your help in order to achieve this. Every little helps - it doesn't have to be a large amount. (If you yourself would like to raise money for Planet Mercy, please do get in touch with me.)

Just as we help those abroad, we should not neglect those on our doorstep. Please help us at Planet Mercy UK to help alleviate the financial needs and difficulties of these people who have fled from unspeakable horror, and are facing countless issues now they are here.
