Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu,

As a teacher of Madina Institute, this project is very close to my heart, to my goals and ambitions in life; to help others, to spread knowledge and provide a sanctuary for anyone and everyone - just to name a few. 

Finally we have a headquarter from where all our activities can take place; Madina Institute workshops/lectures/conferences to educate the community, Planet Mercy projects to feed the poor and help the refugees, and Tiny Teachings workshops for the next generation. Even these are just some of the things that are planned there. We will also have a prayer hall for both brothers and sisters, a youth zone to keep our children off the streets, Islamic classes for adults and children and much, much more to help the community. And it's only up the road in Oldham! Barely 15 mins away!

You're probably thinking how is this place different from other centres or mosques which offer similar services?

Basically, we are independent of other mosques and centres, and are not governed by a committee of donators who push their will upon the running of the centre. Neither are we governed by a family who makes all the decisions.  We are a mixed group of volunteers from different walks of life and backgrounds, with different skills and languages, who have come together for the sake of Allah - to bring back the true Prophetic values to our modern world. I can personally vouch for the characters of the people in charge - they are some of the most humble yet active people I have ever come across - and they have my full trust and support.

So I am asking for you to really dig deep, and give your much needed support to help us get the centre up and running, and in order to have it ready for our grand opening in November, we need to raise £65,000. 

Of that I am assigning £3,000 to myself and ask all my friends, family and colleagues to please donate as generously as you can. Please ask your contacts to donate to this worthy cause too, Insha'Allah it will be the hub of our communities in the Northwest.
