Story

Rotary started to immunise the world's children in 1985 . At the start there were 350,000 cases a year in 125 countries. Last year Nigeria was declared free of polio, so now there are only 2 countries - and they had only a handful of cases last year. The final stretch is the hardest as we have to reach the toughest parts of the world. If we stop now it will all come back in months.

Bill Gates has again agreed to match our fundraising - in fact he will add double to what we raise! So please dig deep and donate now. £5 will treat 35 children and save their lives. Thank you so much.

With all 1.2 million Rotarians across the world we are pushing hard to raise the money to get it done, with the great help of all our schools and the good people of Ampthill and the surrounding area.
