Story

Four years ago I took my first yoga class in India and fell in love with how it made me feel mentally and physically, in particular the challenge I faced with each new class to better myself. I decided I wanted yoga to play a big part in my future and set myself an ambition to open my own studio and share what I had discovered. In 2014, I followed my dream and through a lot of hard work, I opened Hot Yoga House in 2015.

I am now ready to once again push myself mentally and physically and the London Marathon seemed like the perfect challenge for me. I am so grateful for the opportunity to run for a local charity which is close to my heart. Our yoga studio is centred around a few very important principles which we share with the Lelung Dharma Trust - serving and giving back to our local community, creating a happy, positive environment and teaching others to improve their wellbeing.

Watch this space for updates on my progress and some fundraising events that I will be holding between now and April. Until then I'm swapping gin for the gym, sweets for the streets and giving this my best (non-alcoholic) shot!

Change only takes place through action, not through meditation and prayer alone.
