After much consideration I have decided I am going to set myself a challenge and havesigned up to trek the Grand Canyon next October. I will be undertaking thischallenge to raise money for a charity many of you may know is very close to myheart The Chronicle Sunshine Fund.

I am aware this will be a challenge in more ways than one , with me facing a number of myfears (mainly the way I hyperventilate at the thought of a snake, love thecomfort of my bed, stress if I haven’t shaved my legs and most importantly thefact I have never spent more than a day and half away from my inspiration ineverything, my little boy!!). I am really excited about challenging myself andhopefully being able to help some amazing children and families in the process.Over the years my involvement with the Sunshine Fund has allowed me theprivilege to meet with some of these inspiring families and see the equipmentthat the charity provides and how it has such a positive impact on their lives.

I will of course keep you all up to date with my fundraising progress, however if any ofyou have any ideas I would greatly appreciate any help . My just giving pagehas just gone live and I am in the process of looking at events I can arrangeto assist me in the mammoth task of raising at least £3,000. I would like tothink with everybody’s help this could be achieved.
