Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. In 2014 I successfully reached the summit of Kilimanjaro in a bid to raise funds and awareness for the Francois langur conservation program being run by Fauna and Flora International.
As EAZA coordinator for Francois langurs and with 2016 being the Chinese New Year of the Monkey, I'm on a mission to continue to raise funds and awareness for these beautiful endangered primates.
The EAZA EEP have been supporting Flora and Flora in a bid to secure some in situ Conservation for Francois in China over the last 3 years and the project is now well established, but needs continued support.
Francois occur not only in China, but in Vietnam too and here the situation is somewhat more precarious for Francois and are in need of help. Fauna and Flora have recently secured $800,000 of funds over the next five years for primate conservation in Vietnam – but in order to release this money they need to raise £80,000 of matched funds. What this means is that any money donated to Vietnamese primate conservation work, including Francois Langurs, will release 6.5 times its value for this work!
So please, please support my campaign and hopefully
we can secure a more positive future for Francois langurs?
Field operatives have provided newsletters over the past few years on their efforts and progress and together we will endeavour to continue to provide updates to allow you to see how your support is helping.
